How to get accurate kitchen quotes in Chennai
The kitchen is where most interior budgets go wrong. Here's exactly how to protect yourself when collecting and comparing quotes from any company in Chennai.
Always ask for an itemised quote
Your quote should specify: carcass material and brand, shutter material and finish, hardware brand, countertop type and grade, what add-ons are included, and what is explicitly excluded. A quote that says "10ft L-shaped modular kitchen — ₹1.8L" tells you almost nothing about what you're actually getting.
Never compare only the per-sqft rate
A ₹950/sqft quote in commercial ply with local hardware is not comparable to a ₹1,300/sqft quote in BWP ply with Hettich hardware. The cheaper quote will likely cost more within 3 years in repairs and replacement.
Ask for the warranty in writing
10 years is the benchmark warranty for modular kitchen work. Ask what exactly is covered: delamination, shutter damage, hinge failure, drawer runner failure. Get it in your signed agreement, not just a verbal assurance.
